This leadership position will cover a diverse portfolio of U.S.

headquartered clients in Corporates (revenues $50 million+) and Global Banking (revenues $5 billion+). As you progress, you will build a solid understanding of HSBC products and services within Commercial Banking and the broader organization.As our SVP Credit Lead, you will proactively manage deal flow and assignments for a team of credit managers while reviewing credit papers and championing high quality and risk-based analysis to support the credit approval process.

Responsibilities include coaching, mentoring, and developing colleagues. In addition, you will lead the underwriting process for a portfolio of clients, while collaborating with various partners, including junior bankers, our internal Legal/Compliance team, to complete the process from start to end. You will ensure compliance with reporting requirements and adherence to policies and procedures across the portfolio as a Credit Lead.

While no formal direct reports or HR people management, you are responsible for ensuring the portfolio is focused on proper credit management roles and responsibilities, while also knowing when to assist others vs. owning the responsibilities. For this role, HSBC targets a fixed pay range between $143,100.00 and $214,600.00.

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.At HSBC, our overall goal is to provide a competitive Total Reward Package, with an appropriate mix of fixed pay, and variable pay, as part of an employee's overall total compensation and benefits.
