Job ReferenceYorkJob TypeFull Time Your roleAre you an expert at valuing equity derivatives? We looking for an Equities Valuation Controller to: Review and vet independent price verification (IPV), model adjustments and liquidity adjustments for Equity Derivative portfolios. Interact with multiple functions and clients including front office traders, business heads, senior management, quantitative and risk groups and auditors.

Build strong working relationships within all key areas within the organization. Measure IPV uncertainty using multiple sources of data, including listed market spreads and consensus dispersion. Ensure that appropriate valuation adjustments are calculated given the nature and risks of the portfolio.

Lead various projects and initiatives to automate and enhance processes and controls. Develop a deep understanding of the business and trading positions/strategies.Your teamThe role will be in the UBS Valuations team based in NY/NJ and functionally support Equity Valuation Control.

You will work with a global valuation control team to deliver results for the Americas region.Your expertise 7+ years of experience in the industry with strong knowledge in vanilla and equity structured derivative products understanding of IPV, Valuation Adjustment and FVH. a very strong written and verbal communicator.
